About Our Founder

Lucie Bowen, a Certified Addictions Professional and Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, embarked on her journey in 1997, accumulating nearly 30 years of experience.

With over 18 years of expertise as an addiction therapist across various settings, Lucie’s compassionate approach stems from her personal journey and experiences with loved ones. Living on-site underscores her commitment to breaking the cycle of addiction and empowering women to realize their full potential.

Lucie champions the belief that love serves as a potent antidote to addiction, striving to foster a safe and nurturing environment for women. Her vision, coupled with unwavering dedication, laid the foundation for A New Beginning, shaping it into the vibrant and evolving program it is today.
